In an ever-changing music industry, you have to come up with new ways to stand out. This is especially the case when you consider that every day, hours and hours of videos are being uploaded to YouTube, including hundreds of music videos.

This means that you have to create a new and different experience for the fans while staying true to the main focus – the music.


What we did

Based on the track “Spotted” by the rap group, Vild $mith, we created a simple game for the fans where they “spot” ladies on the street.

The game was true to the group’s humoristic side, and through an interactive music video we engaged the listener, ensuring that the music was listened to from start to finish. And, for an added surprise, all listeners that made it onto the Top 50 Leadership Board received the music for free.


The average user played for more than five minutes; that’s approximately one and a half times the track length.
